Stare Angrily at the Function

woman in gray tank top

You had no idea until today but ReIterateThroughDataBaseGreaterThanZero( X,YIn,Params) is your least favorite thing in the whole wide world. You keep staring at the function and its’ contents, and it’s ambiguous comments. What even is X, or Yin?! You don’t have to say ‘In’ at the ‘YIn’ that’s redundant. We get it, it’s an input. You’ve just spent about thirty minutes staring at this function and you honestly feel pretty bad about it.

What do you do?

  1. Stare angrierily at the function
  2. Rewrite the function
  3. Google it
  4. Look at the function calling it
  5. Look at the complicated function being called inside of ReIterateThroughDataBaseGreaterThanZero(X,YIn,Params)
