You dust off your Linear Algebra Textbook

three piled books on white wooden table

You try and remember what the rank of a matrix means, and it makes no sense. Next thing you know you’re trying to code up a Householder QR-Factorization from scratch. You re-run the code with several different methods for inverting a matrix and get the exact same result.

What do you do?

  1. This is ridiculous, it must be in ReIterateThroughDataBaseGreaterThanZero(X,YIn,Params)
  2. Re-write all of the linear algebra library, let’s start from a clean basis
  3. Maybe there’s something wrong with the input, go up another function

After completing his BS in spaghetti coding at the department of the dark arts at Cranberry Lemon in 2005 he wasted no time in getting a masters in debugging by print statement in 2008 and obtaining his PhD with research in screwing up repos on Github in 2014. That's when he could finally get paid. In 2018 B McGraw finally made the big step of defaulting on his student loans and began advancing his career by adding his name on other people's research papers after finding one grammatical mistake in the Peer Review process.
