You’re not giving up. How are you going to explain your research?

family gathering at festive table

You try further explanations but you begin to lose everyone’s attention as the main dishes for tonights dinner start coming out of the oven and everyone starts loading up their plates with food.

You sit down and somehow, your family still seems interested in what you’re researching despite your unsuccessful attempt before the dinner. At least unsuccessful to your standards.

“So tell me again how you’re multiplying numbers or something? Encrypting them? what is this even for?” Your dad asks. “Does it have anything to do with the my email?”

What do you do?

Take out your Thesis draft and your journal paper

Grab your computer and pull up some slides

Start diagramming in your mashed potatoes

Give up and eat some turkey

After completing his BS in spaghetti coding at the department of the dark arts at Cranberry Lemon in 2005 he wasted no time in getting a masters in debugging by print statement in 2008 and obtaining his PhD with research in screwing up repos on Github in 2014. That's when he could finally get paid. In 2018 B McGraw finally made the big step of defaulting on his student loans and began advancing his career by adding his name on other people's research papers after finding one grammatical mistake in the Peer Review process.
