You find Jerry to be a prepubescant looking kid who’s dad lets him homeschools while writing code for in app purchases on his freemium games. You tell him your issue. “Oh wow, I’m sorry to hear you’re working on that code base, that thing just doesn’t seem to die. I’m sorry but I don’t use that part of the code because it just never seemed to work. That one function ReIterateThroughDataBaseGreaterThanZero(X,YIn,Params) just always broke on me. Other than that one function, the code was more or less stable so I was able to do what I needed to without it. I meant to fix it, but never got around do doing that. I don’t know what to tell ya man.”
B McGraw has lived a long and successful professional life as a software developer and researcher. After completing his BS in spaghetti coding at the department of the dark arts at Cranberry Lemon in 2005 he wasted no time in getting a masters in debugging by print statement in 2008 and obtaining his PhD with research in screwing up repos on Github in 2014. That's when he could finally get paid. In 2018 B McGraw finally made the big step of defaulting on his student loans and began advancing his career by adding his name on other people's research papers after finding one grammatical mistake in the Peer Review process.
