You see some head nods from your family.
“Okay, now chromatography works a lot like that, different chemical compounds travel at different speeds through medians and once analyzed using color, you can see what sorts of compounds exist with these machines I work on called HPLC’s.”
You try and make some hand motions like different particles flowing through these medians only to realize it’s not illustrating much. Your family stares at you with a blank face, you’re not sure if they understand it or not. What do you do?
